FAQ's

1. How does this work?

You come up with a great coupon offer and we let the thousands of people who have signed up for our weekly date night newsletter know about it.

2. What is the catch?

It has to be a really good offer. Our readers have to work to get your coupon. The work they do is convincing enough of their friends and family to sign up for your coupon so that it gets the green light. The green light means we send them the coupon. A red light means we haven't sent out the coupon.

In other words if you want the crowds beating down your doors you have to offer them a REALLY good deal. 2 for 1's, etc.

3. How much does it cost?

It costs nothing up front. We only get paid if we bring you paying customers. When the customer pays you then you write down the total amount, minus tax and tip, on their coupon. At the end of the two week coupon period we will pick up the coupons from you that have been redeemed, tally up the total amount and send you a bill for 10%.

We believe that any healthy relationship is built on trust. At the same time we believe that President Reagan was on to something when he said "Trust, but verify". That is why you are free to add up the total on your own. And it is also the reason why we do a random survey of our readers to find out who redeemed your coupon and how much they spent.

3. Can I place restrictions on my coupon. You bet. If your slow time is in the middle of the week then restrict the coupon to the middle of the week. If you are slow from 3-5 each day then restrict it to those hours. However, we find that the coupons with the least restrictions are the most succesful at getting the greatest number of people through the doors.

If you don't want to be swamped with people you can also restrict the total number of people who sign up for the coupon.

4. Can't people abuse that coupons, make multiple copies, changes, etc.?

Yes they can. But that doesn't mean you have to accept the bogus coupons. On each coupon it states that the coupons are good only once and are non-transferable. The only person who can redeem it is the person whose name is on the coupon. We even warn our readers that you may ask to see some ID. If you are really concerned we can send you the list of the people who signed up for the coupon and you can check them off as they redeem the coupon.

5. What will my coupon look like and what does it need to say?

We use the online program google documents to create your coupon. You will need a free google account to access the program. If you don't have one we can help you set it up.

Using this method gives you complete control over what the coupon says. We will not email out your coupon until you are 100% satisfied with it.

It needs to clearly say what the offer is, what the restrictions are, and it expires in two weeks.

We want your new customers to have a great experience. That is the main reason why the "fine print" is BIG & BOLD.
